How to make an AI video with Flow AI Video

Make an AI video from text, a photo, or reference footage. Follow the steps to choose a model, check credits, generate, and download your clip.

To make an AI video, describe a shot or upload reference media, choose a supported model and output settings, then review credits and click Generate. Flow AI Video opens the submitted task in Create, where you can follow progress, preview the result, and download the clip.

1. Choose how your video starts

Use Text to Video AI when you have a written idea. Use Image to Video AI to animate a photo, placing an opening image in Start or a closing image in End. For existing footage, use Video to Video AI to explore a different scene or visual style.

An AI video generator creates a new result from these inputs. A video reference can guide the shot, but it does not guarantee an exact copy of the original movement or details.

2. Write one shot you can evaluate

Begin with a subject, an action, and a camera direction. Add the environment and light when they matter. For example:

A red ceramic cup on a wooden table beside a window. Steam rises slowly. The camera gently moves closer while the cup stays still, with soft morning light and a simple background.

This gives you specific details to check. For a reference-based request, say what should stay recognizable and what you want to change. Upload the reference file; a website URL in the prompt does not import its image or video.

3. Choose settings and check credits

Select a model in the composer, then choose its supported format, duration, and resolution. Available options vary. A portrait format can suit a vertical post; landscape can give a scene more horizontal space.

Sign in and review the current credit estimate. If the balance is insufficient, the dialog lets you keep editing or visit pricing. The blocked request does not start a generation.

4. Generate, review, and download

Click Generate once your inputs and estimate are ready. After a successful submission, Create shows the task with your prompt and reference media. Watch the full result before downloading. Check movement, faces, lettering, and product details against your brief.

If another take is needed, change one instruction so you can compare the effect. Add final captions, exact cuts, or campaign audio in your preferred editing workflow.

Can I make an AI video for free?

A new account may receive welcome credits when that offer is enabled. It is not a guarantee of free or unlimited video generation. Check your actual account balance and the request estimate; if the available credits do not cover it, you need additional credits before generating.

Do I need to create an image first?

No. You can start directly from text. Add a photo when it helps define the composition or product, or use video footage when it better explains the motion. These are different starting methods, not required stages of every project.
